Ana Abad
ana.abad@transcreat-solutions.comI obtained a degree in Translation and Interpreting in English and German at the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid in 2007, where I was also qualified as a sworn translator in English (Ministry of Foreign Affairs). This was followed by a Master in Audiovisual Translation at the Universidad Autónoma de Barcelona.
I then spent five years at Bigpoint GmbH, an online video game company based in Hamburg, Germany, joining as a translator and later becoming Lead of the team in the Localisation Department. My duties were localisation, revising and testing video games, translating texts and translation project management. I was also involved in the development of an assisted translation tool in the company and worked on projects to improve game internationalisation processes.
In 2013 I moved to Spain to become Chief Operating Officer at a translation agency, where I managed the quality management system until the company achieved ISO 9001 and UNE 15038 certification. I also spent three years as an instructor in the Video Game Translation module forming part of the Master's in Audiovisual Translation at the Autonomous University of Barcelona. In 2020, I successfully completed the Advanced Dutch C1 course in the Official School of Languages in Madrid, a language I thoroughly enjoy translating, together with English and German.
I am now one of the founders of TransCreat, where I translate and manage projects. In my personal life, I am a mother of two, an avid reader, a keen writer, and I have a passion for traveling.
I am a member of ASETRAD (Asociación Española de Traductores, Correctores e Intérpretes) [Spanish Professional Translators, Copyeditors and Interpreters Association] and ACEtt (Asociación Colegial de Escritores de España - Sección Traductores) [Spanish Literary Translators Association].
Clara Lorda
clara.lorda@transcreat-solutions.comI studied for a degree in Translation and Interpreting in English and French at the Universidad de Granada, from which I graduated in 2011. I also qualified as a sworn translator in English (Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Co-operation) at the same university.
Copenhagen was my first international destination, thanks to an Erasmus grant which enabled me to attend the Copenhagen Business School. After returning to Granada to complete my academic training, I joined the Servicio de Traducción Universitario (University Translation Service) as a project manager and translator. In January 2012 I moved to Boston to join the team of a translation agency specialising in the pharmaceutical sector, where I translated, managed multilingual projects and gained my first experience in the world of marketing. Back in Spain, in November 2012 I joined the project management department at a translation agency in Madrid, where I handled multilingual projects in different specialist areas. That same year, I completed my Master's Degree in Marketing Management at the ESERP Business School.
In July 2014, I embarked on the TransCreat project with my business partner Ana, and since then, I have been actively engaged in translation and project management. In my spare time, I enjoy playing video games, crafting with beads, exploring creative makeup, and cherishing my friendships.

Esther Sáez

I earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Translation and Interpreting (English and German) at the University of Cordoba in 2019. In addition to the languages covered in the degree program, I also studied Italian, a language that I thoroughly enjoy.
That same year, I travelled to Bonn, Germany, as a Spanish conversation assistant to immerse myself in the language and culture. In 2020, a few months after returning to Spain, I joined the team at TransCreat.
Throughout these years, I have continued to enrich my knowledge and skills in some of my favourite areas: fashion and marketing. In 2022 I successfully completed the Aulasic course: Translation in the Fashion Industry and, in 2023, I completed the Creative Translation and Transcreation course on the same platform.
When I am not translating, I enjoy engaging in activities like reading, traveling, or embroidering. Thanks to the latter, I have gained a better understanding of terminology in the world of needlework, which has also proved beneficial in my professional endeavours.
Currently, my work revolves around project management and translating texts related to e-commerce, jewellery and watchmaking, marketing, fashion, video games, and legal matters.

I earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Modern Languages and Translation at the University of Alcalá in 2019 and, the following year, I completed the Master’s Degree course in Translation and Intercultural Studies at the University of Seville. In addition to my university studies, I have also completed numerous courses specialising in: New Trends in Audiovisual Translation at the University of Alcalá and the AulaSic course, Video Game Localization.
Before working as a translator, I was employed as a telephone operator in the Customer Service and Refund departments at the airline company Vueling. In this role, I handled calls from both national and international customers. Following my experience at Vueling, I worked as a translator at the Always Languages agency in Seville, where I translated a diverse range of texts.
In 2021, I began my journey at TransCreat as a project manager and translator, translating texts from English and German into Spanish. Throughout this time, I have had the opportunity to work on a broad spectrum of diverse texts. Some standout projects include those related to cybersecurity. For instance, I was responsible for translating training materials and phishing tests for employees, compiling an extensive glossary with industry-specific terms, and translating numerous articles on best practices in cybersecurity. I am also skilled in video game localization, particularly simulation games. In addition to translation, I enjoy spending my time playing video games, practicing beadwork, experimenting with creative makeup, and nurturing friendships.
